This vintage souvenir travel shield charm is for Hallein, Austria. The area has long been known for its salt mines and has been inhabited for around 4000 years (the name Hallein was instituted in the 13th Century). The charm features a stunning image that I'm not sure how to interpret but there is a clear gondola or ski lift in the background. This charm would be perfect for any personal, souvenir, travel, Europe or Austrian themed charm bracelet.

This charm is made of enamel and European silver, rather than sterling, and is marked with 800.
