Condition: very good vintage condition - a couple of small chips

This vintage souvenir travel shield charm is for St. Gotthard Pass (San Gottardo) in Switzerland, the most famous of the Alpine Passes. It features a stunning image of a mountain peak with the altitude identified as 2114M. While the pass was locally known in Antiquity, it was first bridged in the thirteenth century, allowing trade and traffic along the length of the Reuss valley. This charm would be perfect for any personal, travel, European, Alps or Swiss themed charm bracelet.

This charm is made of enamel and European silver, rather than sterling.

This charm is in very good vintage condition with a couple of small chips. I don't feel like these chips are very noticeable or detract from the overall appearance of the charm.
